Eco GreenVCI Indonesia(EGI) was established in Surabaya, Indonesia in 2018 and was appointed as the sole agent of GreenVCI® for Indonesia, by GreenVCI R&D Co., Ltd, Korea. We are an eco-friendly atmospheric volatile corrosion inhibitors (VCI) raw material and industrial detergents manufacturer since 1994 with its forerunner company, Eundong International Inc. Quick Decomposition Biodegradability
GreenVCI® products are environmentally friendly in both their production and after-use disposal processes. The company’s production and management processes have been in accordance with the ISO14001 standard since 1998. GreenVCI® products’ biodegradability after use is thoroughly tested with OECD 301A~E methods and have a 99% biodegradability rating (99% decomposed naturally within 40 days).
Non toxic, food grade or plant derived material
GreenVCI® products are non-toxic and include 0% hazardous materials such as chrome, phosphates, secondary amines, or nitrites, which were conventionally widely used as anti-corrosion materials. Beyond being safe and non-toxic, GreenVCI® products are mainly composed of food-grade and plant-derived materials in order to minimize harm to the environment and people involved in production, sales, and use of the products, and are certified by EU REACH (SVHC), RoHS, TRGS 615
Highly efficacious, concentrated solution
GreenVCI® products are highly efficacious and contain a concentrated corrosion inhibition solution that ensures strong results from a small amount of product (2-4% smaller than that of the competitor’s product). GreenVCI also offers customization of our products, further increasing customer satisfaction.
What causes corrosion?
Corrosion is a natural process by which a metal returns to its original state. Corrosion takes place in an electrochemical process where electrolytes, often found in the form of humidity, cause electrons to flow from anode to cathode on unprotected metal surfaces. (Relative Humidity : in general, corrosion begins in RH levels of 40~70% or at temperatures above 400°C (750ºF) with presence of agents. Exposure to corrosion agents : chloride, fluoride, sulfides (electrolytes in general)
